Four Mayor’s Cup Golfers May Win Hole in One Car Prizes

As if golfers didn’t already have a million reasons to play with the previously-announced Windstream® Million Dollar Shot contest, two cars will be on the line at two different par 3 holes. A hole-in-one at one of those holes will win the lucky golfer a brand new Kia or Honda.

At hole #4, Dave Solon Kia will have an Optima (Value: $30,000) up for grabs to any registered golfer who can sink a hole in one. At Hole #16, Freedom Honda will be featuring a CRV (Value: $30,000) as a hole-in-one prize.

Mayor Bach Thanks Freedom Honda for Parks Makeover Initiative

Mayor Bach, members of the media, city officials and interested citizens braved cold, blustery winds on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 as Freedom Honda launched their $10,000 Park Makeover Initiative.

Through their community leadership, Owner, Bill Piercey and General Manager, Bret Petersen are ”blazing a trail” for Colorado Springs parks.

Those who want to vote for one of 15 parks to receive the $10K Makeover can vote on their Facebook page up until March 15th.

Councilman Tim Leigh and Nick Kittle, Innovation and Sustainability Manager attended, as well as Chief Communications Officer, Cindy Aubrey, Liz Lancaster from the Council of Neighbors and Organizations (CONO), Donna Nelson, Economic Vitality Specialist, and Julie Smith, Communications Specialist.
