Mayor Bach Visits First Home Rebuilt in Mountain Shadows

On Friday, November 2nd, Mayor Bach paid a visit to Joseph and Trish Boyd, owners of the first home rebuilt in Mountain Shadows. Inspired by one of his favorite movies, It’s A Wonderful Life, the Mayor presented the Boyds with a housewarming gift of bread, salt, and wine. The bread so that the house will never know hunger, the salt so that life in the house will always have flavor, and wine so that the there will always be joy.

The Mayor asked the Boyds to please let the City know if they need any help and was pleased to see a team from Colorado Springs Together arriving to assist the Boyds as he was leaving.
