Join Mayor Bach at his first Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, February 22 from 6:30-8:30pm.
The crew from Engine 15A were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely helpful, not only did this group of professionals represent the Fire Department in a positive light, they also speak to a city government that is responsive and courteous to the public.
Grateful for the progress made by CSPD to curb shoplifting.
We’ve found that with projects we’re doing, the City seems to be as proactive as they possibly can be.
Accounts Payable Supervisor Patti McFarland was true to her word, she called me back within days to give a status report. Then she called again to update me. Then, she called today to let me know she had been able to contact the unreachable tow company, received an invoice, and would be reimbursing the portion the business manager agreed to pay! I know that it was a sustained effort because I tried for several months and got nowhere. I can’t express my overwhelming gratitude to Patti and your office for their work in this matter. We run a service-based business and try to learn from other organizations whenever we can. I will bring up this instance at our weekly meeting as an example of good service to be commended and followed. Thanks to you and Patti for the surprisingly positive experience I had with your office.
My children have been attending the Hillside Community Center’s summer camps for four consecutive years. It has been an extraordinary experience for all of my children! The camp counselors and volunteers are beyond compare! My children have fostered nurturing relationships with teenage camp counselors who are most definitely positive role models. Whether playing games, taking field trips or making art projects, the supportive camp counselors have made lasting impressions on my children. , I know that children are cared for and community is fostered at Hillside. The program managers have implemented outstanding programs and only choose the best staff to ensure flawless experiences for children. Thank you to Hillside Community Center’s staff for continuing to provide such an exceptional camp experience to our community. You are vital to the sustainability of community in Colorado Springs and the positive growth for so many children! We cannot wait to return.
On August 15th, 2013 , I wrote to you asking for suggestions on resolving the problem of getting sandbags removed from my property. The sandbags had shredded because of exposure to the sun. As a result, the sand was falling out of the bags. It was unsightly and I was afraid that the sand would wash down into my yard creating a big mess. I was so impressed that the next day I was contacted and told that someone from the Emergency Management Office would be calling me. Ken Hughlett came along with someone from the Fire Department. I was so impressed with their willingness to arrange to get the sandbags removed. They were taken from the backyard and it looks so much nicer. I really do appreciate the help and the great service provided. Thank you to your office for getting this problem resolved.
I am writing to thank you and the City of Colorado Springs for agreeing to support The First Tee program. We were so impressed with the quality and character of the coaches. This program did not disappoint and because of their passion and the benefits this program provides for the kids, we signed all three up again. We thank you for supporting The First Tee and believing in kids enough to provide them a quality and character building foundation in gold and life. Thanks for all you and your team have done to create this.
Planning Analyst Sue Matz is a rare gem indeed. She has gone above and beyond in pursuing answers to some questions that are very important to my family and in doing so, you have been professional and thorough and personable. Again, thank you so much!
Thank you very much for fixing the potholes on the roundabout for Squirrel Tail and Brainard as well as the divot by the water outlet on Squirrel Tail towards Musgrave. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
