Grateful for the progress made by CSPD to curb shoplifting.
Thanks to Traffic Technician Pete Doyle, his community attitude to work with the residents is commendable. Thank you once again.
Thanks to the City Clerk’s office for their work in securing a liquor license for the Olympic Downtown Celebration. The event was a huge success and the community really enjoyed it. We appreciate everything your office does to help support these events and I look forward to working with you in the future.
We’ve found that with projects we’re doing, the City seems to be as proactive as they possibly can be.
Thank you very much for fixing the potholes on the roundabout for Squirrel Tail and Brainard as well as the divot by the water outlet on Squirrel Tail towards Musgrave. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Planning Analyst Sue Matz is a rare gem indeed. She has gone above and beyond in pursuing answers to some questions that are very important to my family and in doing so, you have been professional and thorough and personable. Again, thank you so much!
On August 15th, 2013 , I wrote to you asking for suggestions on resolving the problem of getting sandbags removed from my property. The sandbags had shredded because of exposure to the sun. As a result, the sand was falling out of the bags. It was unsightly and I was afraid that the sand would wash down into my yard creating a big mess. I was so impressed that the next day I was contacted and told that someone from the Emergency Management Office would be calling me. Ken Hughlett came along with someone from the Fire Department. I was so impressed with their willingness to arrange to get the sandbags removed. They were taken from the backyard and it looks so much nicer. I really do appreciate the help and the great service provided. Thank you to your office for getting this problem resolved.
Not only was my concern addressed in a professional and timely manner, but Finance Planning & Analysis Manager Leslie Hickey took the time to let me know that changes were on the way. This is the direct opposite of some folks’ perception of local government.
As a resident of the Meade Circle/Templeton Gap neighborhood, I wanted to express my appreciation to the Parks and Rec Department for the wonderful improvements that you have been made to the area around the pond at Nancy Lewis Park. The addition of the new grassy area and plants creates a serene and beautiful area to walk. The park is used on a daily basis by so many people and speaks to them on so many levels. Thanks for doing such a tremendous job of maintaining and improving both this park and all of the other green spaces throughout Colorado Springs. You really do make a difference.
My children have been attending the Hillside Community Center’s summer camps for four consecutive years. It has been an extraordinary experience for all of my children! The camp counselors and volunteers are beyond compare! My children have fostered nurturing relationships with teenage camp counselors who are most definitely positive role models. Whether playing games, taking field trips or making art projects, the supportive camp counselors have made lasting impressions on my children. , I know that children are cared for and community is fostered at Hillside. The program managers have implemented outstanding programs and only choose the best staff to ensure flawless experiences for children.
