Frontier Airlines Announcement Aligned with Mayor’s Initiatives to Create Best Possible Business Climate
Today’s announcement about new non-stop routes from the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) has been hailed by Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach as an important step in the City’s effort to create the best possible business climate.
Said Mayor Bach, “Frontier’s announcement is welcome news for everyone in Colorado Springs, and is especially good news for the business community.”
Frontier Airlines announced four new nonstop routes from Colorado Springs Airport (COS) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Phoenix SkyHarbor Airport (PHX), Portland International Airport (PDX) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The new flights will begin in May.
In Frontier’s news release, Senior Vice President Daniel Shurz was quoted as saying, “Our commitment to Colorado Springs extends far beyond the addition of these new markets. We look forward to becoming a bigger part of the southern Colorado community and serving as your hometown low-cost airline.”
