CSFD Station #9 Adopted by CHEFS

On Wednesday, September 26th, Fire Station #9 held an open house to showcase their new kitchen products received via a donation program led by local kitchenware catalog company, CHEFS.

Even after providing their call center to collect over 100,000 dollars in Waldo Canyon Fire telethon donations,  CHEFS employees wanted to do more to show their appreciation to Colorado Springs firefighters.  They decided the best way to do this was by adopting a Fire Station.  Fire Station #9, located on Garden of the Gods, was chosen because it served as one of the main staging areas for battling the Waldo Canyon Fire.  This outpouring of generous donations from CHEFS employees has provided thousands of dollars in new kitchen products for Fire Station #9.

Thank you to Tim Littleton and everyone at CHEFS for their tremendous leadership.  We appreciate CHEFS and its employees caring enough to step forward and help the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
