5th Annual US-China Political Leaders Luncheon

On Saturday, December 8th, Mayor Steve Bach and his wife Suzi took part in a luncheon hosted by the El Pomar Foundation and the East-West Institute welcoming a delegation from China to Colorado Springs. Attorney General John Suthers, Air Force Space Command Commander General William Shelton, and their wives were also present.

The Chinese delegation, led by Minister Jiarui Wang, is currently on a cross-country tour, travelling from San Francisco to Washington DC. They stopped in Colorado Springs to visit the United States Air Force Academy. Mayor Bach welcomed the Minister and his delegation to Colorado Springs and presented them with a gift of local pottery. In return, Minister Wang presented Mayor Bach with a painting.
